Joe's dream to build a distillery in the place in which he grew up was inspired by his family's rich farming history - from grandad Brian who was a ploughing contractor to father Michael who was a dairy and beef farmer. Boatyard Vodka Boatyard Vodka is the third product to be launched from The Boatyard Distillery, and the first ever vodka to be made from organic Irish wheat. Only the best organic ingredients are used, and the wheat used for Boatyard’s vodka can be traced from the bottle back to the field it came from.
