About this deal
you know it's a sad day on planet earth when i prefer these two's pov chapters in this book over ashers. Killian kisses the top of my head and before I can backpedal, he says the words that go straight to my heart. It certainly made things interesting and makes me what to read all the rest of this series right away.
Her mother is a famous artist and her brothers Brandon and Landon are both artists as well, the latter being a sociopath like their Grandfather Jonathon and Uncle Aiden King.Their story was turbulent and dark with a splash of mystery that I’ve come to love with Kent’s books, but I was also transfixed and loved every moment of it. unfortunately though, I didn’t make it too far into the story because of the content and the YA theme.
And I love dark romance books; seriously, I do, but I prefer connection, understanding, and accepting mistakes a little more, which is seriously hard to find in these books! Edit: no, you didn't see me rereading this book and rounding up my rating to 4 stars for rapist Killian just because he's making smiley faces out of vegetables for Glyndon makes me smile like a lunatic.can we actually take a moment to understand what happened here because i feel like rk sweeped this under the rug and tied up the story in a pretty little bow because what the actual fuck? The story lacked plot and was 15 hrs of reading about their family tree and setting up story lines for the rest of the series. I love a good dark romance as well as the twisted, dark, alpha, anti heroes that go along with them.
