Should you buy? - Only if you’re in the rabbit hole already. Otherwise, try something less tactile first The colors of the stem of Zilent switches are blue, and the housing is transparent. The Zilents would work great with the RGB keyboard setup also.We also have the big upcoming contender: The holy panda. This guy has been the talk of the town for a while and direct comparisons between the two have been happening all over the place. In this review, I will not discuss the holy panda to too much detail. This is not a holy panda review. You will see a fair amount of tidbits concerning holy pandas, however, because that’s probably a lot of the market for the Zealio V2. Holy Panda switches are made from Halo Clears or Halo Trues, and the housing is found on Invyr Panda switches. Drop Holy Pandas, YOK/BSUN Trash Holy Pandas, SP-Star Purples, Everglide Dark Jades, NK Blueberries are far more tactile than these. Zealio 78g - For those that prefer a slightly lighter MX Clear, but want a bigger and smoother bump than MX Clears / Holy Pandas. Tactile bump is round and snappy at the very top. From beginning to end, the spring is heavier than all other Zealio variants.
The Glorious Holy Panda switches were revealed in 2020 to much fanfare. Glorious called these “the most tactile switches ever created”. While much of it is marketing hyperbole, you can’t deny that these are some of the best tactile switches out right now. They’re actually more tactile than the Zv2s, but the sound is garbage, roundness is non-existent, and they’re harsher than a breakup right before the holidays (pray4krelbit :( ).The tactile bump generated is a great indicator of when a keypress is logged without having to fully bottom out your keys. Why Use Tactile Switches? These are my favorite, least tactility out of the bunch but there’s already so much I can deal with it. As you don’t need to wait for the confirmation for keystrokes, as long as you pressed a key you can move forward. So a sharp and rounded tactile bump plays an important role here.
Of the batch i feel like i prefer the 67g more than the others, but both the 62g and 78g seems to have the same tactility (i don't notice a big tactility lost, thing that could happen on the 78g). The 62g is better than before imho, on V1 i thought that the 62g seemed less tactile than the 67g version. On v2 they feel to have the same tactility but slightly different feel/weight. So on this, the weight is just a preference. Zealios V2 switches are upgraded versions of Zealios switches that are a tactile type of switch constructed by Zeal PC and come with a slightly lower wobble and smoother tactile bump.While the tactile bump in the Zealios V1 Redux switches is ever so slightly more punchy than that of the TTC Blueish White, a better comparison would be to say that the Zealios feel more coherent and sharper. The TTCs, by comparison, feel a lot more muted and less clear in their tactile bump part of their stroke. Improvements: There’s more tactility, and the stem itself is smoother. The spring is much snappier than the old one, which was already starting to get quite snappy in its own right. If you need a quieter and tactile switch, then the Zilents v2 would be your choice. These switches are a bit on the premium side. Zilent– The 67g Zilent switches are very Crisp & responsive. These switches have a tactile bump feeling at the very top with more cushion during the bottom out compared to the 65g Zilent V2. Sounds are crisper, deeper, and well satisfying to your ears as I have already elaborated about Zealios V2 switches sound above.
