About this deal

With the Ender 3 V2 Neo, there should be no reason to use a Raft or Brim with the standard filaments. Fortunately, with the correct temperature setting and the excellent adhesion of the print bed, such auxiliary constructions are not necessary. The Ender 3 Neo requires a substantial amount of work to assemble, even though Creality ships it partially assembled. Out of the box, it takes at least an hour to assemble and set up, and may take longer if you are not experienced with 3D printers. With the settings presented here, you have a perfect starting point to optimize the Cura profile for your Ender 3 V2 Neo.

While PC spring steel plate has very good adhesion, it can be hard to remove prints even with the ability to bend the build plate. The carborundum plate on the Ender 3 V2 is a better overall build surface in our experience, since prints are much easier to remove once the bed cools without any need for removing the bed surface. We’ve also found that it’s far easier to damage the PC surface of the steel build plate if the first layer leveling is too low. We’ve analyzed these two varieties of build plates in more detail in our bed material guide. The slicer supports several 3D file formats, such as STL, 3MF, AMF, and OBJ files that you can drag and drop into a neat user interface. Material Compatibility

The biggest addition in the Neo series is automatic bed leveling as a standard feature. Creality has now made their CR-Touch automatic bed leveling system the new standard among low-end 3D printers by installing it on both the Ender 3 Neo and Ender 3 V2 Neo. The CR-Touch probe automatically probes 16 different points on the bed to identify potential unevenness on the platform and uses that information to automatically adjust the bed during the printing process. As you can see, the quality of the print was consistent until around 100 – 120 mm/s. At this printing speed, we notice some inconsistencies in the bonding between the layers, and some slight stringing starts. But still, it wasn’t horrendous. Minimum Layer Height

What are the upgrades for the Ender-3V2 Neo?

Wrong retraction settings can cause a lot of printing errors. The first print error caused by a suboptimal retraction is stringing. Therefore, most retraction calibration objects are designed to favor stringing. Print speed: 50% of normal print speed (i.e., 25 mm/s for a normal print speed of 50 mm/s) or 5-10 mm/s for high print bed adhesion
