While the spatial audio is exclusively enabled via the physical controls, BassUp can also be activated in the Soundcore app. The app also provides access to a toggle for listening to audio via the LDAC codec on compatible Android devices and a customisable nine-band graphic equaliser. This equaliser allows you to save your own tunings alongside four preset profiles: Voice, Treble Boost, Balanced and the default Soundcore Signature.

But as soon as you engage the bass boost and spatial audio, everything sounds more balanced and full. You can also tweak the sound profile further in the Soundcore companion app for iOS and Android. Typical battery life will be up to 30 hours. That’s right in range with most other Bluetooth speakers in this price range. That gives you about 3 typical 8 hour shifts before needing a recharge. The bass radiators really add a nice level of controlled bass to this speaker. It’s not too boomy. The sound quality is perfectly acceptable for a small portable Bluetooth speaker. You’re not going to get stereo separation or anything like that from this kind of speaker, so the most important quality is volume and not having distortion or sound quality degradation. Controls
The other cutting edge to this blade is that, once depleted, the battery takes quite a while to charge, with Soundcore stating that it will take around six hours to go from empty to full. Given battery life is meagre anyway, the Motion X600 could really do with some form of fast charging. The W-KING D8 delivers sound from 2 woofers, 2 tweeters, and 2 passive bass radiators. The 4 drivers have up to 70 watts of power to deliver great volume in any environment. I had no issues with volume while using the D8 outside, in the garage, or filling up the inside of the house with music. Clarity and Distortion

Battery life is rated at up to 18 hours at 50% volume (the earlier A1 didn't live up to its battery life claims but this number is more accurate) and if you can afford it, you can link two A1 speakers to create a stereo pair. The speaker is waterproof with an IP67 rating, which means it can be submerged briefly in shallow water. Even at max volume, the W-KING D8 delivers great clarity and is free of any distortion.
