a b c d The Titan's curse (first edition). LC Online Catalog. Library of Congress (lccn.loc.gov). May 2007. ISBN 9781423101451 . Retrieved November 5, 2015. The demigods rush to the rescue to find that Grover has made an important discovery: two powerful half-bloods whose parentage is unknown. But that’s not all that awaits them. The titan lord Kronos has devised his most treacherous plot yet, and the young heroes have just fallen prey. Did I ever tell you how I love the writing style of this series?? The writing style is SO good! It's really funny and the writing style is the first reason I enjoy reading this book. Like how could the author write this perfection?? Seriously, the writing style is so perfect. I'm writing this review on my phone so I will add gifs and the quotes from the book later because I don't have the book with me right now.

It is possible they are mercenaries more broadly working for Triumvirate Holdings. In The Hidden Oracle it is revealed Triumvirate Holdings funded the Second Titan War, and in The Burning Maze it is revealed they too have many mortal mercenaries working for them. Dionysus - God of wine, disgruntled director of Camp Half-Blood. He intentionally never gets anyone's name correct.

Grover Underwood - A large-hearted satyr, whose favorite foods include aluminum cans and cheese enchiladas. He wants to look for Pan, the satyr god of nature and the wild, who fell into a deep sleep due to the humans' pollution of his domain. A few months after the events of The Sea of Monsters, during a terrible battle against a Manticore, Annabeth is lost and presumably dead. Afterwards Percy has a dream, and it is revealed that she could still be saved, but at a terrible cost, since someone has to endure the burden of Atlas. A fatal prophecy of the Oracle doesn’t help one bit with their hopes of success. In a desperate quest against time, a group of brave demigods set their way to rescue their missing friend.

The Titan's Curse was published by Miramax Books, an imprint of Hyperion Books for Children [1] and thus Disney Publishing (succeeded by the Disney Hyperion imprint). It was released in the United States and the United Kingdom on May 1, 2007. [2] The novel was also released in audiobook format, read by Jesse Bernstein. [4] [5] I looked at Thalia and Zoë, and I decided it wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world to die fighting with friends like this. The group receives a ride from Artemis's brother Apollo who lets them use the sun chariot, with Thalia at the wheel. The combination results in a gut-wrenching experience for the group because Thalia is scared of heights and the sun chariot can fly. Soon, they arrive at Camp Half-Blood, almost crashing in the canoe lake. The group battle the automaton when Bianca has a plan to defeat it. She enters via a maintenance hole in his left foot to destroy him. She succeeds in destroying the prototype Talos, but is electrocuted when Talos crashes into electric lines, causing him to short-circuit and crash to the ground. After failing to find her, Grover tearfully announces that the next stage in the prophecy has been fulfilled: Bianca di Angelo has died in the desert, the land without rain. REVIEW TO COME TOMORROW. ( that was what I said a few days ago but I still haven't written the review 😭😭😭 hopefully, I'll write it tomorrow ) Percy soon encounters Apollo again when they get on another train headed west. Apollo advises him to seek out Nereus, the Old Man of the Sea. Percy soon has a dream, in which he is given the sword Anaklusmos by a girl. Unbeknownst to him, he is in fact seeing through the eyes of Hercules and the girl, he later realizes, is Zoë.

Things are getting much, much, much more interesting now. The Titan's Curse is far more thrilling than the first two books, and I still can't believe I'm finished with it already. For me, this one was better than the first two books in every way. A lot of the book is spent travelling by varied means from one side of the States to the other, a journey punctuated by encounters with monsters. We're set up for a big boss-battle on the Mountain of Despair and that's a fun battle with everything from gods and titans to dragons and bi-planes. This moment was so great because it showed how much those characters love and care about each other even if they occasionally get on each other’s nerves. *lol* It made me sad that Annabeth wasn’t a big part of this story but considering the main plot it was okay that she only played a minor role. Let’s just hope she’ll play a bigger part in “The Battle of the Labyrinth” again. =) And last but not least I want to say how much I love Percy! XD One of those spikes finds its way into Percy’s shoulder. While he slowly succumbs to the poison, he gets the pleasure of hearing Thorn gloat about the Great Stirring, a massive uprising of deadly monsters. There’s even one powerful enough to bring down Olympus itself. An eight-hour-and-forty-eight-minute audiobook [13] read by the actor Jesse Bernstein [14] and published by Listening Library [15] was released on April 24, 2007. [4] [16] [17]
