If you place your bed centrally, with bedside tables and lamps, it’s balanced, showing you are ready to welcome someone into your life.it was fun reading about feng shui in English and seeing the author try to explain 「太極生兩儀，兩儀生四象，四象生八卦。」 i like that this book took many modern adaptions so it's not just "put a toad at your entrance for good fortune". It gives too much significance to the TV, as though suggesting it’s more important in your life than people. So if I were to name one problem with this book it's that he saves the anecdote about he got into the Feng Shui business to the afterwards when it should have been in the forward. An informative, amusing, and beautifully illustrated companion book to the Dear Modern YouTube channel. Great explanations of why elements are placed in certain areas and why certain situations are best avoided.
