Bomonti remained Turkey's biggest brewery for decades until Efes was founded in 1966 and took over the market in the 80s. Around the same time Efes entered the market, Türk Tuborg received permission to open their brewery. Anadolu Efes runs its international beer operations through Efes Breweries International B.V. (“EBI”), its 100% subsidiary based in the Netherlands. Anadolu Efes is also the main shareholder of Coca-Cola İçecek A.Ş. (“CCI”), which runs Coca-Cola operations in Türkiye and abroad.

Definitely buying this again. The hops are totally amazing, and it has a refreshing, natural malty flavour. This doesn't taste over pasteurized like a commercial pilsner (Heineken etc). It tastes natural and like the producers care about their product.
