About this deal

I can’t imagine anyone reading this that isn’t a fan of the show, that being said, I felt like she spent the entire time telling us all the same stuff the show eventually covers but in a more drawn out way, as if talking to toddlers. The setting of the outer banks is intriguing and the reader feels the attraction of the sun and ocean. The Fig story line is absolutely absurd and I almost cried of exhaustion when the last few pages became a bad crime/mystery novel.

The ending was off for me - interesting but different than I expected based on the rest of the book. I always enjoy getting to know her characters and locations and have taken several East coast vacations largely due to the interest in the area that her books left with me. The book is the story of enigmatic Kate Lee Abrams and her relationship with her 3 college suitemates.I'm also kind of suprised that this was an option for one of the "Modern Fiction" choices during my Junior year of high school.

JJ e John B non sono fratelli, ma ci sono legami che vanno oltre il sangue e la loro è un'amicizia sincera e leale. i have a bad obsession with outer banks the show so when i heard they had a book i bought it immediately and was exited to read it! As grown women, one summer, they meet at Ginger's beach house on North Carolina's Outer banks for an informal reunion.

If you can't take a summer beach vacation, this book, along with a glass of Southern sweet tea, would be a good substitute. After watching all of Outer Banks the night season one dropped on Netflix, two things were certain: 1. The first Union victories were achieved at Hatteras and Ocracoke and the pressure that was exerted by Union forces in northeastern North Carolina kept Southern forces from being deployed elsewhere.

I did in fact enjoy reading this book, but since the main characters in this book are John B and JJ, Big John felt like one too. Its first person narrative from the voice of a woman, now in her early fifties, as she reflects on the people involved in the most pivotal phase of her life is resplendent with the kind of poignancy we all can relate to. Outer Banks perfectly combines summer beach town vibes with the high-risk hunt for gold, and don’t get me started on John B and Sarah Cameron’s relationship! the novel is set during spring break, when the rich tourist Kooks take over and John B and JJ plan a fishing getaway to the notoriously dangerous Frying Pan Shoals — nicknamed Graveyard of the Atlantic for good reason.

I tried three times to finish this book, but finally gave up this time at the half way point, because it was wasting my time and boring me to tears! plus he and savanna kissed at times that no one would ever consider kissing and it was awkward and annoying and not cute and i hated it. Determination to finally finish the novel kept me reading although I wanted to abandon it before the narrator finally arrived in the Outer Banks from New York.
