About this deal

Nightwing has to get to the bottom of this Heartless character whilst also snooping on the new mayor Zucco, but the info he’s going to find is the last thing he’d expect. It’s all once again top notch work that is a must read for any fan of Nightwing, or like in my case, if you’re trying to get into the character.

Suddenly now the richest man in Blüdhaven, Dick is hoping to do more than just being Nightwing, but other forces have sinister plans for the city. I’m a fan of Tom Taylor and I trust that his plans for the character will pay off in ways that are equal parts heartfelt and thrilling. He is perhaps best known for the best-selling DC Comics series Injustice: Gods Among us, Earth 2, Batman/Superman, and his many Star Wars series. I don’t like the implication that previous books have never mentioned all of the charity work and organizations the Wayne Foundation has established to help the downtrodden. My little nitpick about this is that the billionaire charity foundation is not a good model for saving the world. If you guessed that he steals hearts then you are correct, and Dick’s heart seems like a nice target. So we’ve got this great ensemble that reflects upon the best elements of a classic character, and we’re putting him at a new angle for crimefighting, while not deleting his history.

I overall just really loved this volume, and this series is by far my favorite book on the shelf as of right now! Is this run going to explore the "Batman would be better off creating social programs with his billions" idea that surfaces on the internet every few weeks?

The Zucco family has made their way into the mayor’s office with Melinda Zucco, the daughter of Tony Zucco. Messy cliffhangers are resolved immediately, themes are often easier to follow, and pacing issues can be largely invisible when you have six issues of content to burn through in one sitting. And finally we have him facing multiple threats like that of Blockbuster's men named Brutale and Electrocutioner and how he fights them and then the big battle with Blockbuster when he attempts to find out the origins of the new Mayor Zucco and her strange connection to him and thats like one of the best part of the stories and I love the way the retcon is done and really makes for an interesting dynamic for him! Plus, Alfred pops up with a sweet message for Nightwing in his will, and I may have choked up a bit while I was reading it. After taking the dog home to his apartment, Dick is reunited with his old flame Barbara Gordon, who hands him a letter from the late Alfred Pennyworth.
