It can be used to quickly install accurate pipework for exposed valves with 150mm centres, providing a secure fixed wall anchor for your bar shower valve. Install 15mm copper hot and cold feed pipes ensuring they will proturde approximately 60mm from the finished wall surface. The steel plate is fixed into the wall cavity during the "first fix" stage with a simple clamping device that holds the pipes in position, perfectly square and at the correct distance apart.serves them right for changing there mind to have a mixer shower from electric after i had run the pipe work and rebuilt the wall. The PL8 is secured to the noggin, and then there's 2 short stubs of pipework, which should be fairly resilient; as long as you're holes for the pipes aren't too large, then there shouldn't be an issue. Once fitted the bar valve is extremely secure (can withstand a direct pull force of 130kg with no defects).
