About this deal

But when her safety is threatened once again, she finds herself back under the watchful eyes of her gang-lord brother, Julian, and her ex-boyfriend, Christian, both desperate to keep her safe. He laughs from the back of his throat and I love it when he laughs at the things I say, I want to make him laugh forever but I can’t because he broke forever and still I fight the urge to kiss him anyway. If this is just a world made of people to fawn over and love a character that the author sees as herself, then just tell me so I can move on from this series and accept it for what it is. p>

Read about how we’ll protect and use your data in our Privacy Notice. his povs literally ruined everything good in this book AKA the relationship thats ACTUALLY worth reading about: christian and daisy.

Raised by her older brother Julian since their parents were murdered in front of them 12 years ago, Daisy hasn't ever lived beyond the watchful . Truthfully, I started to get a bit nervous about this book once the "promo" for it started, but we will get there. everything always has to revolve around Magnolia and the Kylie Jenner of London (yes BJ, i'm talking about you).Echoes through the ancient mountains around us and the Greek philosophers who waxed lyrical about true love and soulmates roll in their graves as I try for the billionth time to sever myself from mine. I cried a lot in the end (and i mean a lot) but it's not a Jessa Hastings book if the end doesn't break your heart. at this point i’m pretty sure jessa isn’t capable of writing a story that doesn’t revolve around magnolia.

I came here for Daisy but I feel I didn’t get enough of her because the POVs kept going back to Julian and Magnolia. I know you don't care about Daisy but this is your career and you cannot afford the unprofessionalism. I honestly came into this book expecting to rag on him like I do for the previous books, but I had very few complaints. The flirting while she was with Tiller>>>> The way they described each other>>>> The way they listened to each other. But the way it’s so clear that they are being used as the second class citizens in the story and the continued bad personification of magnolia has made me feel this way. Anyway, some parts of this book felt like a different Daisy than from book 1, especially when it came to the Tiller relationship. Some people have freckles sprinkled on their noses, other people have eyes clear like water, or hair that’s the colour of the night, but me? since I didn’t read mp:tlwh cause I don’t like Magnolia and BJ that much so I didn’t know that some of what happened here was the same as from that book so that’s why I’m okay with it.
