The only issue I had with DS4 is that in steam games the controls were inverted (Because controllers was recognised 2x, causing up being down and down being up) I fixed this by ticking the box saying "Hide DS4 controller" in settings, so it only shows as a XBOX controller. As it's on my computer I do use it with InputMapper which is a great tool for having all the controller functions in and seen as I was using it before there are no problems with still needing to use it now, after all Steams DS4 integration is lackluster at the moment and there are not many games that will work with proper button mapping unless you use a program like InputMapper.
