It makes rich rums with characteristic Christmas cake and butterscotch flavours and is known for its long-aged editions. The Appleton Estate Hearts Collection is a collection of single vintage, single marque pot still rums produced in very limited quantites. This blend of pot and column still rums aged for a minimum of 8 years is made with Jamaican limestone-filtered water and no added flavours.The Signature Blend, however, is also particularly good in a huge variety of cocktails – including rum favourites such as the Daiquiri and Mai Tai. A blend of rums matured in smaller barrels before being married in oak casks then bottled at 40% ABV. Add to that a butterscotch and vanilla base, and you've got a fantastic Rum bursting with deep, complex flavour that is great for mixing or taking straight on ice.

Their Signature Blend contains a delicious mixture of different rums, aged between five and ten years, and is the flagship rum for Appleton Estate. Some of the data that are collected include the number of visitors, their source, and the pages they visit anonymously. Thanks to the island’s warm climate there is a much higher rate of evaporation meaning that aged Jamaican rums such as the 21 Year Old show a higher level of maturation than similarly aged Scotch whiskies. Appleton rum is made on an estate nestled in the fertile Nassau Valley on either side of the Black River in the south-west of Jamaica.
