About this deal

The Magnolia Inn was a magical place that helped to provide healing for Maggie, Clementine, Archer and Penny. I loved the Red Stiletto Book Club idea; very empowering and I loved the blooming love story for Maggie and Archer.

Clementine had a big part of this story but we only get little glimpses of her past love. I'm really excited that she'll be one of the two main female characters in the next book in this series. I can't wait to see how that unfolds. As well as Shari and her story being unfolded as well. These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone. Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score, we add up all the review scores and divide that total by the number of review scores we received. Guests can also give separate subscores in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free WiFi. Guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently – there’s no direct link between them. I love writing romance because it's about emotions and relationships. Human nature hasn't changed a bit since Eve coveted the fruit in the Garden of Eden. Settings change. Plots change. Names change. Times change. But love is love and men and women have been falling in and out of it forever. Romance is about emotions: love, hate, anger, laughter... all of it. If I can make you laugh until your sides ache or grab a tissue then I've touched your emotions and accomplished what every writer sets out to do. Maggie had recently divorced, had no job, and was running out of money. She needed to get out of New York but where should she go. As a last resort, she approached her estranged mother to ask for help to start her own business. Her mother, Penny, agreed to a deal. If Maggie would refurbish and decorate her grandmother's former home to prepare it to be sold, Penny would share the profits with Maggie. Maggie had skill as an interior designer and because it got her out of New York and provided possibilities for her future, she agreed. This was a sweet, clean wonderful story filled with healing, friendship, romance and second chances and ended with a happy ever ending. I can't wait to learn about Clementine's story. After so much build up regarding the issues of alcohol, I found things resolved too abruptly towards the end. The inconsistencies in beliefs and lifestyle choices of several people including Aunt Sugar’s three friends were hard to understand. I really couldn’t understand or relate to Aunt Sugar’s three friends who have a muddled outlook on life, sex and religion. Jolene also makes inconsistent decisions. The Magnolia Inn by Carolyn Brown is a romance that takes place in the East Texas town of Jefferson, which is home to many B&B’s and antique stores. If you like the Hallmark Channel or romance novels in general, then you will probably enjoy this book. This story is pure fluff.

When Maggie blows into town, I can’t help but feel inspired by her desire to reinvent herself and when she asks for the local handyman, it becomes the perfect opportunity to provide Archer with purpose and perhaps, a little bit of sunshine. The local airport, Marcos A. Gelabert International Airport, is a 15-minute drive away, and Tocumen International Airport is a 30-minute drive from the property. Whenever I see a pair, who are disgruntled and barely acquaintances, but have that special spark, forced to work together in a gently-paced, slow burn friends to lovers, I know I'm going to have a good time. Sugar and her husband are ready to retire and travel across country, so they leave half of the B&B to Jolene and half to her cousin Rueben. Sugar has big plans, but no money. Rueben hates his memories of the B&B and decides to sell.Hi! I'm twenty five years old and movie star gorgeous. The camera added thirty plus years and a few wrinkles. Can't trust those cameras or mirrors either. Along with bathroom scales they are notorious liars! Honestly, I am the mother of three fantastic grown children who've made me laugh and given me more story ideas than I could ever write. My husband, Charles, is my strongest supporter and my best friend. He's even willing to eat fast food and help with the laundry while I finish one more chapter! Life is good and I am blessed! All in all, this was a comfy, heartwarming story with a satisfying romantic ending. Those who enjoy women's fic crossed with contemporary romance set in a small town should try this one. The Magnolia has served as the gateway to the Village since it opened in 1896, less than a year after Pinehurst was founded. It is the second-oldest hotel in the Village behind the Holly Inn, which opened its doors on New Year’s Eve in 1895. Featuring: Multiple POVs, Tricenarians, Family Drama, Alzheimer's Disease, Fixer Upper Trope, Small-Town, Island Life, Rhode Island, New York City, Life After Divorce Trope, New Friends
