I was loving getting to meet Pen and her guys, Xeno, York, Dax and Zayn trough her flashbacks and all. Even though I’m not a dancer I enjoyed the story and how dedicated heroine Pen is to living up to her goals. There were times where I had to re-read a sentence a few times to understand how the body was moving.

While I didn’t love and it’s not my favourite reverse harem that I have read, it’s still such a great series and not something that I have seen before. However, this is still a 4 star read because of the men and the world building - and I can't wait for the 2nd book in the series! That girl has been dealt a rough hand but everything in her life changes when she meets the Breakers as a kid.

I mean okay, Xeno is like the lider of the group, but if the guys really love her, how are they so okay with that ultimatum? I honestly didn’t think that I could go from swooning, to my heart beating out of my chest, to heartbroken and crying and then to horny as hell. Some of that is forgivable because this is the first book in a series and it makes sense to save things to reveal and develop in later books. Okay, even if that annoyed me a little, as i said earlier, it is a classic book thing, i've heard this story before, so i could ignore if the rest was good. With have only read this book, I am in love with her writing style and this storyline that she has created.

I don’t really know who exactly my favourite is, but I do have a soft spot for Dax that is for sure. Yes, the art of dance is so lovingly portrayed here, so fundamental to the emotional progression of our story and the characters’ development that it becomes a character in and of itself. I know it needs to be like that for the story but I just prefer it when it’s all squished at the front so I can get on with the present. I think a lot of reverse harem series, this one include, have a lot of similar plot points with one thing that's supposed to set them apart. Filled to the brim with laughter, love, tears, passion and some of your favourite characters from the spin-off series’, this is going to be one hell of a performance you won’t want to miss.The transition for past to present took a bit to gel for me but when I got my grove it seemed to flow really well. And in the flashbacks there's that part when Xeno fucks his latest girlfriend near the baysement they hang and she hears all of that, and gets a little hurt. I couldn't believe that they fell in love with one another without enough history as to how and why.

This book had everything you want , the angst that breaks your heart in the right way , the pain that makes you feel so much and the vulnerable scenes that you want to capture and keep with you forever! But this author gives us her version, one that is completely different and in a way that screams BETTER!Three years since we’ve seen her, talked to her, laughed with her, danced with her, fucking touched her.
