Of, and the chef, a Man With a History, finds a laboratory manufactured woman in the middle of the desert and together they do crazy stuff. If you're after a manga with below average writing, very average art and a whole lot of a naked minor hanging out with an old man, then this is the manga for you.

But when certain physical changes begin to take place within Arisa, the journey takes a sudden turn. And while it's a choice I can understand and even generally respect, it's hard not to feel like there's an inevitable clash with the previous appeal of the series.

Same for Arisa, who has her own wild way of fighting that suits her energetic, rambunctious personality.

The manga uses the deadline as a destination, insinuating the story was always driving in that direction. I also really enjoyed having the recipes that were used throughout the book compiled in the back of the book. Thankfully, Gordon doesn't constantly lust after her and his character is interesting enough to have kept me engaged in the story. Sidebar - it drives me crazy that having a 17-year-old flashing her chest all over doesn’t get this an explicit content warning, while the superlative Sex Ed 120% (a series that is about 20x more wholesome and educational) does. Worth noting that there is a lot of nudity from Arisa—the mysterious “plot” girl—but the protagonist food truck chef balances it out by acting like her concerned father and always making an effort to cover her and teach her basic human lessons in comical ways.
