About this deal

makeup literally just melts off, might have to go in a second time if you have lots of mascara, but that’s no biggie! I did notice however that as my skin is generally dehydrated if I wait too long before continuing with the next steps of my routine my skin can feel drier than usual, so I make sure I am quick with this so that it doesn’t happen. I once had Shu Uemura cleanser and loved it but its sooooo expensive and i can't justify spending the money so I was looking for an oil based cleanser to use instead.

I use it as my initial cleanser when I've been wearing makeup and it does a great job of removing it.

What’s great about this cleansing oil is that I found it to completely dissolve all makeup including heavy foundation, waterproof mascara and eyeliner, however, I personally no longer use this on my eye area, as I like to use Bioderma to remove eye makeup, but I still use this for the rest of my face as it draws out impurities gently without tugging at the skin. We're proud to announce that our mailing bags are made from recycled polythene and are also recyclable, and our bubble wrap is made from recycled plastic and is completely recyclable. When it emulsifies and turns into a milky lotion when water is added, it rinses clean away, which is really important to me because I hate the feeling of product still being left on my skin. Please feel free to look around, there's not much yet, but posts will be regularly uploaded once a week!

when applied with dry hands on your dry face, this rich, naturally golden-hued olive oil cleanser binds with waterproof mascara, sunscreen, make-up and daily grime, rinsing off easily in warm water with zero residue. Not only that, but the oil was so thick that I could only use hot water and a wash cloth to remove it. In a clinical study, 92% of participants agreed Deep Cleansing Oil worked better than a leading cleanser at removing complexion make-up.But, surprisingly, this DHC Deep Cleansing Oil that mostly contains filtered Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, has not clogged my pores or worsened my acne in all these years. One of the big plusses for me is that this product is really straightforward and simple with only 8 ingredients and does not contain alcohol or artificial fragrances. A darn shame if you ask me, because that leaves us with very little cheap options to try out this silky soft way of removing your make-up. I used to work for DHC almost 12 years ago as a skincare advisor, and that’s where I discovered all of their fantastic products, one of which stood out the most and has since been my holy grail oil cleanser: their best selling DHC Deep Cleansing Oil! Cleansers can’t be relied upon to have any sort of effect as it’s only on the skin for about 60 seconds before it’s washed off.

Really work the product throughout the scalp and roots of the hair, then finish up by performing a shampoo cleanse.Dispense 2-3 pumps into dry hands, then massage onto dry face to dissolve makeup and other impurities. With antioxidant-rich organic olive oil and vitamin E, it hydrates, softens and protects against free radical damage. You essentially massage this into your skin for a minimum of 5 minutes very gently and you'll begin to feel small bits on your skin. I often find that my skin can look dull, but that wasn’t the case after using the DHC Deep Cleansing Oil. I usually use a 10p size amount with a dash of water to create the consistency I want use it all over my face.

While I’d never choose to put a product directly into my eyes, it’s hard to completely avoid this happening when taking off eye makeup. Just like with most of Biotherm’s products, the fragrance is very pleasant, but it’s definitely there. The oil-based cleanser breaks down dirt, sebum and other impurities and also removes all traces of makeup, so skin is left looking clean and refreshed. You may notice that you’re not left with that squeaky clean feeling even after thoroughly rinsing, which is why you need to cleanse again to ensure every trace of dirt is gone. The olive oil we use in our products is from organic farms in Spain; it is refined and purified in DHC's labs in Japan. Dispense 2-3 pumps into dry hands, then massage onto dry face to dissolve make-up and other impurities. Its not full of synthetic chemicals like alot of cleansers and it is great at removing make up especially waterproof mascara.
