About this deal

The author then provides some cooking tips and then shares common vegan ingredients, how they are used and what to look for in that particular item. Copied off a few I can't wait to try, and I absolutely loved the author's sense of humor and ensuring to include recipes for many of the staple additives featured throughout. Super fast and easy recipes, a LOT of pantry staple ingredients - which she even mentions in the prelude, that was her goal. It was the weird British edition of Vegan With A Vengeance, the first book of her’s that I ever bought. Its long list of distinguished and popular titles includes The Art of Walt Disney, Earth From Above, Richard Avedon: Performance, Time: Andy Goldsworthy, African Ceremonies, Slim Aarons: Once Upon a Time, The Ultimate Picasso, Worldchanging: A User's Guide for the 21st Century, Graffiti World: Street Art from Five Continents, Things I've Learned in My Life So Far, Vanity Fair: The Portraits, Twilight: Photographs by Gregory Crewdson, Kirby: King of Comics, William Wegman Polaroids, Tony Duquette, Louis Vuitton: The Birth of Modern Luxury, Landscape Design: A Cultural and Architectural History, Golf Magazine: Private Lesson's, and the best-selling 365 and Discoveries series.

And after a few decades of writing her own cookbooks, she knows what the people want: easy-to-follow instructions and accessible ingredients. Not only are the ingredients lists often in hard to read colors, but are often in fonts so tiny when half the page is unused. but these are easier to prepare —— truly a great book for beginners — or for experienced cooks who just want easy weeknight meals. While the introductions are in super large dark print, the actual recipes are pale and miniscule - completely unreadable in a kitchen setting.

Not looking to become vegan myself, but I love reading through vegan recipes and cookbooks for new ideas on how to eat the veggies I've come to love but sometimes get bored with. There have been one or two recipes that I did not like — but because the vast majority are so tasty and easy to make, I say it deserves a full five star rating. So anytime I was hosting a dinner, I needed to make sure that something on the menu would be suitable for them to eat. Curry and udon are two of my favourite things to pair together so I made this Curry Udon with Broccoli and Avocado on the first chance I got.

From Isa Chandra Moskowitz comes I Can Cook Vegan, a cookbook dedicated to her true love: the home cook. stars -- I got a big kick out of the artwork and typeface in this book, which should bring a nostalgic twinge to anyone who attended elementary school in the 1970s or 1980s. With over 100 innovative recipes, along with tips, techniques and ingredient guides, this book will teach you how to feel more confident than ever in a plant-based kitchen. The ingredient list font is far too small and for some reason is printed in light lentil green making it somewhat difficult to read.

Over the years I’ve bought all the others and I Can Cook Vegan arrived on my door the day of release. I love this author but the book's color choices make it hard to read and harder to use in the kitchen.
