Highly and hilariously illustrated, three stories of the antics and adventures that kids can get up to in the 15 minutes that is “Little Lunch”!

This is a cute, funny series of books about what happens at recess (known as Little Lunch in Australia apparently). He is the author of The Modern Guru column in the Saturday magazine (he swears those letters are real and he does not make them up). Based on the hit Australian TV series picked up by Universal Kids and Netflix, Little Lunch is a little silly -- and a lot of fun. Another story is about dressup day, and how one child puts on an apron to look like a vet, because she doesn't have a lab coat.Read more about the condition New: A new, unread, unused book in perfect condition with no missing or damaged pages. ighly and hilariously illustrated, three stories of the antics and adventures that kids can get up to in the 15 minutes that is “Little Lunch”! Next, Battie comes to school dressed as his own made-up superhero, Stretcho, but can't understand why no one wants to be rescued. I can not wait to share this book with not only our young readers but with our parents and teachers, I know they will sure love it.

This is what happened during Little Lunch: Rory forgot his playlunch and did something that shocked everyone, Battie freaked out because he thought he'd ruined Grandparents Day and Melanie held a cake stall to help homeless puppies, but it didn't really help anyone! The stories in this book, there are three of them, are the same stories as were on the show (which is on Netflix). One is about a boy whose grandmother, his yaya, keeps making Greek food that he refuses to eat, until he find out that it is actually good, and then he eats it. At Little Lunch we ate a BAD birthday pavlova, Atticus lost his glasses and we had a Disgusting Joke Competition by the bubblers.

This one had a good lesson on showcased, how it feels to be excluded and not judging without al the facts.

Goncha's class got into compared to the Wayside School students (luckily nobody got turned into apples) but the modern plot twists and the new take on school happenings was really such a joy to read. The book consisted of three short stories, which all take place during little lunch (or recess) at school. Renamed and repackaged from “Loads of Laughs” after the success of the TV adaptation, this is the first Little Lunch book I’ve read, and it was great fun. Three bite-size stories kick off a series based on a popular TV show about all the fun (and maybe a little trouble) that happens at snack time. Three highly illustrated, hilarious stories about a group of kids and their adventures during the fifteen minutes of Little Lunch. On my recent visit we sat together reading a bunch of books and this one I am reviewing as a promise when I was given by NetGalley. It brings into the discussion interpersonal relationships between students and children even questioning themselves. This book 100% reminded me a lot of Louis Sachar's Wayside School which was one of my favorite books of all time growing up so I knew right from the start that I would enjoy Little Lunch: Loads of Laughs and I most certainly did. A lot of Little Lunch - the original six titles, now with an additional Bonus Stuff activities, in one Big Book!
