I loved the slow build up in this plot and it is testament to the quality of Lynda la Plante’s writing that my attention was held throughout the book as we, along with Jane, try to work out exactly what crime has been committed. Her contributions to the crime drama genre have earned her a place in television history, and the Lynda La Plante books continue to entertain and inspire readers around the world.
