Poor old Robot (spoiler alert) leaves his mechanical bottom on a swing at the park and getting it back is problematic. This book is great we laughed out loud and refer to it often (particularly when we go to the park (‘check you’ve not left your bottom over there. Doodle Cat has a cape (a tea towel), which gives him some pretty cool superpowers:he can fire furballs at high speed, become invisible and grow 300 times his own size (kind of). They made up a story about a fish with fingers and then a slug with a doughnut for a shell, and now no one can stop them from writing more and more frankly ridiculous books. The book is beautifully illustrated and the story is guaranteed to have you and your child laughing… I can't recommend any of the Sue Hendra books highly enough, seriously if you've never read any of her books then you MUST!
