Based in the UK, the Carducci String Quartet is recognised as one of today's most successful string quartets.

Infrastructure has been one of the hottest London lateral markets in recent years, with US firms snapping up a stream of top talent. The Chambers UK team discusses the factors and developments that have shaped the Competition/Antitrust legal market in the UK over the last year.

This project is aimed at instrumentalists and designed to enhance and develop skills in chamber music performance.

The Bar Council is grateful to the Council of the Inns of Court, the Inns of Court College of Advocacy, and the four Inns of Court for supporting the Bar Placement Scheme. February 2023 also saw a festival which involved multiple collaborations with the Castalian Quartet. For over 20 years, The Smith Quartet have been at the forefront of the world’s contemporary music scene. The Quartet performs over 90 concerts worldwide each year whilst running its own annual festival in Highnam, Glos and its recording label Carducci Classics, as well as holding residencies at Cardiff University and Dean Close School, Cheltenham.Investment Funds Secondaries now ranks firms and lawyers in distinct bands, while Venture Capital and Credit Funds rank lawyers in different tiers. To deliver the Bar Placement Scheme, the Bar Council works with Pathways to Law and the Social Mobility Foundation. Please note we do not accept applications for student placements/mini pupillages/internships directly. We are fortunate that every term our students work with the Carne Trust Ensembles in Residence at Trinity Laban: the Carducci Quartet, the Linos Trio and the Smith Quartet. Mandy spoke to around 50 students on the Level 3 Travel and Tourism course at BMet’s Sutton Coldfield College campus.
