West and Carolina's character arcs were the thing I was looking most forward to, and they did not disappoint. But, for him to be dating someone else and him saying that he hasn’t stopped thinking of the h during the 2 years apart? Her character had a lot of depth, and it was heartbreaking to see her constantly plagued by insecurities and being used by others because of her family name. Firstly I thought that the author created the perfect setting in this slow burn romance and I enjoyed experiencing Lancaster Prep alongside the characters.He uses the drunk excuse, which is poor and then after all this says that ‘they don’t really know each other that well’.

When I want to read a book- I want to see character growth and development, but I saw none of that here. On a better note, ‘A million kisses’ by this author is a great book and you should definitely read it. It was nice to see how they bought out the best in each other and to see them gradually grow closer.
