By finding the Key of Admittance in Hogwarts Legacy, players can unlock access to valuable new gear items in a unique location that’s sure to delight fans of Wizarding World lore. I managed to pick up a number of the puzzles famous during that period in flea markets, despite their rarity. As with all the Hanayama puzzles it comes beautifully packaged and no solution is provided (If you need one you can get it here). Based on these original puzzles from Britain’s famous puzzle period, this is one that we have successfully revived in its new form. The round animal heads are easy for small hands to grasp and it's a great way to build fine motor skills and colour recognition. However, given the sheer size of Hogwarts Castle and its many hidden secrets, finding the key and figuring out which lock it fits can be tricky. I started with this one to get a feel for a relatively straight-forward one for a beginner (even though I have a couple of harder ones already). The easiest way to reach it is by fast traveling to the Trophy Room Floo Flame in the Grand Staircase area and continuing down the hallway through a metal gate.

There are two cast puzzles that look like keys and I got this version because I preferred the dark shiny chrome effect. They can go bu colour or by the shape of their feet, but the object is to get the animals all facing forward.Once players have climbed the spiral stairs to the Headmaster’s Office, they should head through the second door on the left wall. The Hanayama range has been painstakingly designed and developed over more than a quarter of a century!

At the opposite end of the hallway is a locked door that players can open with the Key of Admittance. A seemingly simple puzzle, but its hidden inner workings make it hard to solve, and hard to replicate if you do manage. I have to say that I think it is MUCH more robust than that and you will need to use considerable force to break it (maybe levering it wrongly). The instructions say you should be careful not to use any force and comments on the Puzzle Master page do say it can be easily broken.
