I was initially very disappointed with the grain until I realised that Unsharp Masking (USM) plus Clarity that I would usually apply to a digital file when processing in Affinity Photo brings out the grain to an alarming extent.The latest packaging of ColorPlus, with its simple yellow and red packaging faithful to Kodak’s brand image, immediately brings to mind punchy contrast and vivid tones.

Rated at 200 ISO, this film is destined to be shot in sunny, outdoor situations, or in very well-lit environments. On a cloudy day you can expect results that still have good contrast, but an overall mellow look that represents the overcast conditions accurately. It was originally intended for everyday photos and for amateur photographers, but experienced photographers can easily make standout shots with the same humble roll of Kodak ColorPlus.You can also expose this film under photolamps (3400 K) or tungsten illumination (3200 K) with filters.
