Additionally, the set includes 5 Star Wars™ characters, such as General Hera Syndulla LEGO minifigure and Chopper (C1-10P) LEGO droid figure. Its Gloss Black Base and acrylic construction provides unobstructed visibility, allowing every aspect of the set to shine. As with the Phantom 2 mod, this shuttle can dock with the 75357 Ghost set (with the same very minor modification to the roof) and also my modified Ghost. THE PLAYABILITY: There so much interior space inside for one to play whether it's the two gunner stations, the sink and cargo area, the Phantom II mini ship or the shooting projectiles- this ship has it all! As such we are a little reticent to recommend this as an investment without seeing how popular the sets and the sub theme Ahsoka are.
The large accessible interior is a huge win and the exterior angles are more accurate thanks to pieces that didn't exist when the original was designed. Similarly, only a little more money would get a LEGO Star Wars fan one of the smaller Ultimate Collector Series sets, which are perhaps a better fit for display.
The ship is loaded with features from spring-loaded shooters, a cockpit, hatches, and a deployable Phantom II ship.
If it performs in line with the overall LEGO Star Wars theme, then we will be keen to invest for sure. Those looking for Star Wars Rebels minifigures may wish to check out 75362 Ahsoka Tano’s T-6 Jedi Shuttle, which comes with Sabine Wren (as well as the eponymous Ahsoka). We've known for a few months now that at least two sets based on the upcoming Disney+ Ahsoka show will be releasing in 2023 but we now know of a third.
Several of the sections are completely new, like the docking rings and roof, and some like the main top panels just need some tiles and wedge plates to be added or rearranged.That said, it’s nice to see the LEGO Group providing further diversity in the set, both with the choice of human minifigure, and the fact that the set features a Mon Calamari headpiece, which is always a welcome addition. It’s not just about the building aspect, but the impressive array of iconic Star Wars vehicles, locations, and characters that are recreated in intricate detail through the colourful bricks. Just like The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett, Ahsoka will be getting brand new LEGO sets alongside its release with these three LEGO sets releasing on 1st September 2023.
