In the story Little Red Riding Hood resigns from her role-playing the same character, which leads the Wolf and the other characters to use other girl (Maggy) to replace the role.

Why did the wolf change his mind about eating the little girl when he's told that it's possible to change the ending of stories? When the wolf follows Red over the bridge of cloth, the sheet is released and the wolf drowns in the river. The Big Bad Wolf is an animated short released on 13 April 1934 by United Artists, produced by Walt Disney and directed by Burt Gillett as part of the Silly Symphony series.
