I didn’t get round to it at the beginning of this year and I’ve been plagued with them even with such dry weather.

The Large Red slug and Black slug ( Arion ater) are either orange-red or black with an orange fringe. With the slugs safely inside, place a concrete slab (or any firm cover) over the top to seal them in. Reproduction occurs mainly in autumn and spring, when clusters of spherical, yellowish-white eggs can be found under logs, stones and pots.
