About this deal

Autism is a lifelong developmental disability that affects around one in a hundred people, and it looks a little different for everyone. This is an anthology featuring short comics from autistic creators about their own experiences and insights on autism. The 40 contributors all stress that many autistic individuals can live happy, healthy lives when they learn what they need to thrive, and when people learn more about them.

different autistc artist made an anthology about having autism and living with ASD and it's such a good and informative read.

That's a heavy enemy in the academic sphere for the autism topic, and I was glad honestly that the authors didn't contribute to it.

I recognized a some of the tools described in some of the stories to prevent anxiety attacks etc and I only wished I've seen this comic when I was younger. The contributors to this comic anthology are a dynamic and diverse group doing great work for themselves and their community. Celebrities speaking out about their experiences can be key to raising awareness, and this memoir recounting Packham’s lonely childhood and special friendship with a baby kestrel opened many eyes to the experience of autism. I think reading comics can be really helpful and enjoyable for individuals with autism and I just wanted to speak to anyone who has an opinion on the subject. Like the heroes which they so often encompass, I have found that comics do this incredible work with little to no recognition.

Amazing collection of comics of all different styles, which in itself is a brilliant display of the variety of autistic people out there. Among the essential skills is the ability to merge cells, a useful technique to improve the presentation of information. This is a comic anthology written by autistic artists depicting various aspects of autistic life such as being diagnosed (including self-diagnosis), meltdowns, masking, autistic joy, and so on.

People with autism tend to respond much better to clear sensory material than they do with words; such as visuals, colour, storytelling, characters, etc.
