Briwax Original is a premium finishing wax that seals the surface of your woodwork while giving it a nice sheen, enhancing its natural appearance. To achieve this, brush along the grain with Shellac Sanding Sealer before using Briwax Original wax polish. For best results and to prevent a blotchy appearance timber should always be previously sealed with a varnish, oil or Briwax Shellac Sanding Sealer. Note; the product is not designed for use in areas where it will come into contact with water or heat. Application: Apply using a lint free cloth or Briwax 0000 Steel Wool, thoroughly working the wax into the grain.

This is far better than applying one thick coat, as this will take longer to dry and be very difficult to buff off the excess. Product Application: pply to the surface with a soft lint free cloth or 0000 Steel Wool working with the grain. This means that it will renovate older dirtier furniture and leave you with the deep grain enriching BRIWAX shine.

On bare wood, you can stain and seal the wood first using a shellac sealer (but this is optional) Apply the Briwax using a lint free cloth in the direction of the grain.
