About this deal

THE EASE OF USE | I can’t get over how this seemingly simple thing has made such an impact on the ease of camera-carrying-arounding.

This backpack’s straps tuck under magnetic flaps along the back of the bag if you don’t want to use them.Similarly, the metal plate’s low profile is awesome—you hardly notice it when you’re holding on to your camera and I love that it’s already compatible with Arca tripods (including Peak Design’s! It can hold any type of camera from full frame DSLRs to crop-sensor DSLRs, and can withstand a little over 50 lbs. I literally can’t imagine the number of shots we would have missed if we didn’t have our cameras within easy reach, like that one time a monkey tried to steal our backpack in Manuel Antonio. For a really long time, we almost exclusively used the wide angle lens with whatever camera we were shooting with, because, well, we’re lazy and it’s inconvenient to set down your bag, rifle through it, and go through the process of swapping out your lenses.

The Peak Design Capture Camera Clip is a secure, convenient, accessible way to keep and carry your camera with you. There are currently 3 different models that are compatible with Sony E mount , Canon EF-EFS mount , and Nikon F Mount). As mentioned above, Justin and I have been using these clips for years and move them around our various backpacks almost on a weekly basis. While I primarily see most Capture Clips used to simply hold cameras onto a backpack strap (seriously, it seems like every YouTuber that I watch uses one of these things), the clip can be used for SO much more than that.Manage your home with our range of smart tech, which makes life convenient and entertaining in a world where everything's connected. The Peak Design Capture V3 Camera Clip with Standard Plate is a pro-quality camera carrying solution which allows you to carry any camera on any backpack strap, belt or bag. After several years of using the Peak Design Capture Clip, here’s my honest review of the good, the bad, and the ugly. For example, if you just sit your backpack upright, the weight of the camera on one of the straps may cause the backpack to fall over… and your expensive gear will be the first thing to hit the floor.

While there’s a few minor issues with the design, the Peak Design Capture Clip has been an absolute game changer, allowing us to safely secure our cameras and effortlessly access them, whether we’re hiking a trail or exploring a bustling city. If you make a purchase through them, we may receive a small commission, for which we are extremely grateful, at no extra cost to you. In our opinion, a little scratch or nick here and there is nothing more than bragging rights that you’ve been having some fun with your gear. Excellent – The equipment should be close to being ‘Like New’ but there may be some small cosmetic blemishes that lower its grade.

I don’t think Peak Design has ever advocated for strapping your heaviest lens to your chest and hiking for miles and miles on end with it. Since getting the lens repaired would cost many hundreds of dollars, he’s accepting it as a loss and is planning to replace it instead. Includes 2 components: a metal clip that clamps to any backpack strap, belt, or bag, and an Arca tripod-compatible plate that screws into the bottom of your camera. SensualTomato online just shared his nightmare as a warning to other photographers using (or thinking of using) any camera clip. Whether you are looking for HDMI cables for your home cinema setups, cleaning kits for your binos, or extra storage for your laptop, our range of tech accessories will have something for your needs.
