Aged for 12 years, it's smooth for some, harsh for others, with a polarizing aroma and short finish. Reflecting the island’s French colonial roots, it’s made from sugar cane juice, similar to rhum agricole. This rum is produced by the Grays, the same fine folk behind the excellent New Grove series, in collaboration with Bordeaux winemakers the Milhade family.
