About this deal

I have loved this film since it first came out and already had the DVD but wanted the better picture and sound quality that you get from a blu-ray disc.

The extras are a spectacular feast, too, that only drop a mark with the perplexing absence of vocal stars Nelson, Hunter and Jackson. Itching to get back into action, Bob gets his chance when a mysterious communication summons him to a remote island for a top secret assignment. The first features Bird and producer John Walker, which covers the overall experience of making the film. Extras: Language(s): English, Hindi, Russian, Kazakh, Hard of Hearing Subtitles: English, Subtitles: The Incredibles: English, Hindi; The Incredibles 2: English, Russian, Interactive Menu, Screen ratio 1:2.A musical tale of a carefree sheep whose life is messed up by a haircut, it was nominated for an Oscar. Jack-Jack Attack is an all-new animated short that recounts Kari the babysitter's adventures tending to Jack-Jack while the parental units were away on adventure. A nice eight-page insert is included that has a map of the DVD set, descriptions of some of the special features and the chapter stops. Incredible and Frozone sit in a car, talking—something found in countless live-action films and few animated ones (discounting anime, of course). The first disc also features a handful of trailers, including Pixar's Cars and Disney's CGI Chicken Little.

Nelson) used to be one of the world's greatest superheroes, known to all as 'Mr Incredible' - saving lives and fighting evil on a daily basis. Sure, Bob's a loving father, but he would rather be out stopping criminals in their tracks than going to some artificial ceremony honoring his son Dash's graduation from 4th to 5th grade. Bought this recently after reading all the reviews concerning the difference between the UK and US versions and finding quite a lot of extras were missing in the UK version. A commentary by Luckey fills in all the background info behind the short, while a featurette, "Who is Bud Luckey? Sure, there are big superhero battles, villains and the usual comic-book trappings, but those are just part of the story.Certain items can take longer to source than the estimated week, particularly during busy trading periods and may take longer to arrive at our warehouse. Animator and Pixar stalwart Bud Lucky offers a commentary for his creation and is further credited with a small featurette entitled Who is Bud Lucky? The segment entitled Vowellet: An Essay by Sarah Vowell is an amusing look at the young lady who provides the voice for Violet. Next up is over half an hour of Deleted Scenes with introductions by Bird as to why they never made it.

Some of the discussion gets a little technical (if you don’t know what “ones,” “twos,” “squash and stretch” and “ key frames” are, some of the subtleties of an early comparison between CG and hand-drawn animation will be lost on you), but overall it’s an enlightening experience. Michael Giacchino, who has created scores for video games and the TV series Alias, provides a horn-heavy score of such brassy bravura it's more Bond than James Bond. What you might not notice is that with each new film, the animation becomes even more advanced and realistic. His passion is literally incredible and the enthusiasm he brings is commendable - he's just a big kid, really, with endless pranks and wisecracks punctuating the mind-boggling complexities of bringing an animated movie to the screen. I watched this again a couple of days ago with two grandchildren aged 4 and 6 (having seen it originally in the cinema when it first came out).Included are very well done audio clips of interviews with the individual supers that are finely detailed, right down to the background noise of crowds or radio static.

We also get to meet the ill-fated pilot Snug who thankfully didn't make the final cut as it would have been the death of him! Written and directed by Brad Bird, the director of "The Iron Giant", a thoroughly underrated traditionally animated film released some years ago by Warner Bros. But now, 15 years later, Bob and his wife Helen (Holly Hunter) - also known as former superhero Elastigirl - have adopted civilian identities and retreated to the suburbs to live normal lives with their three children. The greys of suburbia and Bob's daily grind are captured with claustrophobic precision, making you champ at the bit for the colour to arrive. Following the tradition of sophisticated humor and whimsy found in other digital marvels like Pixar's own Toy Story movies and Dreamworks' Shrek flicks, The Incredibles is the kind of animated fare that's great for adults and kids alike.

It is fun to watch the footage, but when a character, from the film, makes an appearance at the end of the short, it sort of gives away the real origin of this footage. CGI-animated action adventure from Pixar Animations Studios, the creators of 'Toy Story' and 'Finding Nemo'. Sometimes a little dark for those of a very tender age, but a brilliant movie with my favourite character being Edna! Nelson (TV's "Coach") does a great job of capturing the boredom of everyman working a humdrum life and the unabashed excitement at doing something he is truly excited about. If there's one thing that defines America more than overeating and gun ownership, it's that lawyers have evolved into a distinct species who can spot a no win-no fee case if someone's wearing the wrong shirt.
