About this deal

One thing lead to another, Laura found herself doing the walk of shame and a little unsure of what had happened the night before.

They made him see that life was going on, as it inevitably does, and that there were still possibilities for him to find happiness. Part of the Macmillan Collector's Library; a series of stunning, clothbound, pocket sized classics with gold foiled edges and ribbon markers. By nature, I’m a minimalist – and maybe don’t have the greatest attention span – so I’m in awe of short works that stand on their own. Even if they didn't, Laura still wishes to, because she realizes, after now meeting the man, she's in love.

In any case, their relationship is most usefully liberated from labels and categories: the important thing is the connection which developed, wavered, waned and was revived throughout the time they knew each other. VW and VS-W did love each other, but they also both loved their husbands and Vita has other affairs with women, some more passionate than that she shared with VW. This is a truly heart-warming story of loss, recovery and above all, of community' Bernie McGill, author of The Watch House. Another character who I felt had huge influence in the book was Eleanora, Dermot’s agent and the person who gets Laura involved in the literary festival to begin with. It felt like the correct way to read these beautiful love letters between two women who will always fascinate and mean the world to me.

Laura wants to be an editor but soon she'll be out of work but then an opportunity arises where she gets to meet her favorite author and convince him to come to a literary festival. The popularity of the modern royals, the release of the award winning Crown series and the time that has passed since Princess Diana’s death may help to re-energize The Love Letter. As she peels back the veil of lies that has shrouded the secret, she realises that there are other forces attempting to prevent her from discovering the truth. I don't read romance generally and I realize I'm giving up right after our heroine sees her beloved in the flesh for the first time, but honestly, Laura is irritating and getting more so by the page. He even agrees to run a course at the University of Bath and asks Laura to help him selecting the 10 best writings. i think of vita, her small lips, her giant eyes, her young, exuberant devotion and admiration and i have the chest pains of a living crush. I will try another Katie Fforde book because as I said, I have read Going Dutch and I really did enjoy that.
