About this deal

The Chase board game version doesn’t feature all The Chasers we currently see on our television screens. Round 3: The Final Chase – the player who got through round 2 with the highest monetary value plays the Final Chase (unlike the tv show where all players who get through play as a team).

The Question Master (the player to the right of who is answering the questions) then starts reading questions aloud from the blue question cards. In this family board game, players must stay one step ahead of the Chaser, ruthless and brilliant quiz geniuses determined to stop you winning…. Once the time has elapsed, The Chaser has two minutes to try and answer enough questions to catch up with the contestant. If players answer questions, they can move one step away towards safety, by a Chaser answering correctly moves one step closer to catching you. He pointed out that "this can lead to some serious analysis paralysis where you are stuck waiting around for the other player to make their move. Each player then takes a Chaser Picture Card (an image of The Chaser they want to play against) and places it on their Chaser Playing Piece.

The player who successfully evades capture with the most amount of money makes it through to the Final Chase, a nerve racking question round to win the banked cash. The active player can choose to move a die in any direction in a straight line for a number of hexes equal to the number of pips showing on the die. The defender removes the captured die from the board, and adds the number of pips on that die to another die still on the board (thus keeping the total value of pips on that team at 25). Now take that money into The Chase and meet your Chaser – The Beast, The Destroyer, The Governess or The Sinnerman. If a die "hits" the end of the board and still has movement left, it caroms off the end at a corresponding angle.

If the contestant gets to the end before The Chaser catches up with them they win the money they were playing for. There are some excellent quiz shows on television and one of our favourites is The Chase (one of the most successful and longest running game shows on UK television and one of ITV’s most successful daytime TV shows ever! The player moves value from one of the dice to the other such that the total value of the two dice remains the same. We all have our favourite Chasers, but the board game version features only four of them: The Beast (Mark Labbett), The Destroyer (Shaun Wallace), The Governess (Anne Hegerty) and The Sinnerman (Paul Sinha). The die cannot move through a space occupied by any other die of either side, and cannot move through the center hex.
