About this deal

Ich wurde von der Story vollkommen mitgerissen und kann nicht anderes als eine absolute Empfehlung für dieses Buch und generell die Reihe um Hunter und Garcia aussprechen. Aš kad ir kaip bandžiau nuspėti kas slypi už visų šių žiaurių nusikaltimų, tačiau to padaryti man nepavyko. Dieses Mal mussten wir uns etwas länger gedulden, doch ich würde sagen, die Geduld hat sich eindeutig gelohnt. During my University years I held a variety of odd jobs, ranging from flipping burgers to being part of an all male exotic dancing group.

Detective Robert Hunter was seen some of the world’s worst sadist and psychotic killers in his time with the LAPD Ultra Violent Crime Division but in Genesis he is going to come up against a killer like no one before, a killer that is twisted and evil beyond imagination. I am not going to tell anything about the story as murders are starting from the beginning of the book and revealing anything will be spoiling the pleasure of reading the book. Detective Robert Hunter has long been a valuable member of the Ultra Violent Crime division of LAPD Homicide, investigating the most heinous crimes committed.

If the violence had been toned down somewhat to match the original crime, then for the plot and storytelling, I would not have hesitated in giving this 5 stars.

The opening chapter of this was so creepy I went my first time ever live on Tiktok (smbslt) as I was reading it home alone. He uses a strong narrative to set the scene, adding highly descriptive moments and short chapters to keep the reader intrigued and wanting to read more.

With no forensic evidence to go on, Robert Hunter must catch the most disciplined and systematic killer that he has ever encountered, someone who thrives on the victims’ fear, and to whom death is a lesson that needs to be taught. I didn’t need to know the gory details of each crime scene, it was enough to tell me someone was tortured. While this may be the case, he has always seen it eat away at his inner self, which leaves Hunter to wonder how much energy he has left. The methods and signature of the murder differs, but the level of violence used suggests that the same person is behind both crimes.

The twisted MO, brutality of the murders and the meticulous planning that leaves no real clues, trying to find the killer before they strike again is going to be almost impossible. We don’t share your credit card details with third-party sellers, and we don’t sell your information to others.Yes, it has too much gore and too many details that I could do without, but why at the end of the day are we choosing to read a crime book?
