About this deal

I have noticed this when holding LB RB LT RT A B X Y and then rapidly mashing multiple directions on the dpad, sometimes an input will get stuck. Well, you’ll lose Nintendo Switch compatibility for a start (without some dongle trickery, at least), but also the Hall Effect sticks and the GuliKit KingKong 2 Pro’s extra turbo and learning modes. What it lacks is polish, as it doesn’t feel as premium, and it’s also missing extras like the Hall Effect sticks. The new one will specify that it is version 2 in the title and the updated version of the older model will just simply say it's the updated version and not say PRO2. It has the autopilot memory AND it brings motion control aiming to PC and Android for the first time ever.

Until this gyroscope is fixed, it’s useless to Splatoon players which accounts for a large chunk of the Nintendo Switch’s audience. If it's the choice between a Xbox 360 controller emulation and Xb1/elite, I think I'm glad they went with the former for compatibility with older titles out of the box, but they should have scrapped the Dinput mode in favor of a mode that supports back paddles. After you connect it to your PC, you hold a combination of buttons and the controller becomes a storage drive on your PC, you can then copy or swap out the automation files for different games. The only way I’d ever suggest you to give it a try is if you know someone that has it and they let you give it a shot. You can check for yourself, there are no other controllers available for PC or Android that support motion aiming.

Personally I can only strongly recommend this controller as an vanilla Xbox 360 controller replacement on PC and maybe a Switch pro controller replacement (see concern above), but the other modes and features on PC have a few caveats that may or may not be big issues depending on your situation. As far as I can tell, the controller has performed with pinpoint accuracy and a perfect response time at every opportunity. I will use the sticks mostly for shooting and then tilt the controller slightly to get the crosshair perfectly where it needs to be to achieve great headshots. I'll be holding ZR and pressing other buttons (Jumping, swimming, open the map) then when I let go of ZR it's still being registered as held down. That said, Microsoft’s official gamepad is a reliable pick with an iconic design and top-tier ergonomics, especially if you shell out for the Elite series which also adds rear paddles. And since it is translated to English, that means the controllers originate from China, and GuliKit lets you know clearly as the box itself is littered with Chinese lettering from back to front. Patented Low Power Technology provides only 50% power of original carbon film joystick for more power saving and longer gaming session. Using GuliKit’s own proprietary design, the Hall Effect sticks use electromagnetic signals to register inputs, rather than potentiometers like you’ll find in the Switch Pro Controller and almost every other gamepad. There have been other analog stick types in gaming, but we’re going to focus on the third type that the Sega Dreamcast even used: Hall Effect.
