The update brings with it the ability to trigger cells from the grid, get hands-on with producing and performing, and you can easily navigate projects.

Legacy mode is excellent for those who are nostalgic and wish to use favoured layouts from older versions of Launchpad. Plus I've not even gone into the midi controller template aspect which is something else I plan to look at. The problem I'm trying to solve is to be able to clear notes from the drum tracks without triggering an extra hit when I select that particular pad to highlight that lane in the sequencer. I’m not fully discounting the Launchpad Pro yet though… I still think I might find use for this outside of Ableton. Our most powerful and playable grid controller ever is made to produce in Ableton Live and Logic Pro.
