About this deal

Brick-a-brac is a UK based e-commerce retailer specialising in discontinued, rare and exclusive LEGO products. The one right above it needs that room to avoid trapping the pilot if his backseat driver hops out first so it can’t be helped.

Brickset, the Brickset logo and all content not covered by The LEGO Group's copyright is, unless otherwise stated, ©1997-2024 Brickset ltd. It's pretty darn cool, but I'd recommend, if you're giving it to someone younger than the box recommends, to have an adult handy. This set comes with a whole range of printed parts, some of which are unique to this set only such as the sloped printed windows, printed computer with tri-fighter, printed wedge, printed technic disc with Arc-170 engine pattern and printed tile 2 x 2 with DkGreen Half-Ellipse Pattern. This current model has a much longer wingspan and is overall bigger, with smaller pieces resulting in a more intricate design and tighter fit. Join the battle against the Clones by deploying wings in attack mode and throw missiles on enemy droids.Defend the Republic above Coruscant with the advanced LEGO® Star Wars ARC-170 Starfighter microfighter. Hover your LEGO® Star Wars™ Arc-170 Starfighter build in flight mode with our crystal clear acrylic stem which features a slot to slide in the ship and hold it at a dynamic angle. Behind the pilot is the hole where you insert the blue transparent 1x1 circular bricks into the bomb bay. The color palette is also very nice, however, the set does come with stickers, which I have chosen not to apply. My son definitely needed help with the wings as the tri-wing assembly does require some dexterity and attention to detail.

The wings are impressively wide, and thanks to new parts since the old model they’re appropriately radiused. Contact Us LEGO, the LEGO logo, the Minifigure, and the Brick and Knob configurations are trademarks of the LEGO Group of Companies. Built with the latest in Republic technology, this Clone Wars fighter-bomber carries a crew of clone pilots and Jedi Master Kit Fisto into battle anywhere the enemy strikes.Speaking of the S-Foils, they work pretty much like the X-Wing sets: turn a Technic gear on the back to engage the hidden worm gear inside the ship and T-bars spread the little wings thanks to a slot in the main wing. Mon neveu de 7 ans que j'initie au légo est ravi de ce modèle qu'il arrive à monter lui-même et qui est facile à manipuler pour mettre en scène ces aventures dans l'espace.

The bracketed stripe along the fuselage looks great and the SNOTed slopes round off the nose cleanly, unlike the older model that used sideways plates and failed miserably. Turn the gear on the back to open and close the S-foil attack wings, then push it to launch auto-firing flick missiles. As we highly anticipate the new ARC-170 coming out next year, here's a look at the original version from 2005, the year EPIII came out. Overall the construction is pretty straight forward, no real surprises or weird landing gear like the V-19 had.LEGO, the LEGO logo, the Minifigure, and the Brick and Knob configurations are trademarks of the LEGO Group of Companies. The cockpit glass does not open to let the pilot out, so it need to be removed if you need to take-out the pilot.
