Nevertheless, I enjoyed the characters Alaska and Zuko and I'm definitely intrigued by Zuko's brothers Kyson and Kenzo so that I'll come back to the Hunter brothers, wanting more of this world. When a certain someone with a voice she could never forget turns up at her job what will become of this little flirty game between Sage aka Alaska and the ruthless Zuko? It is well written and well worth a look if you like that batpoo crazy lust that these two characters experience falling into each other. For such a short story, the author really did an amazing job at writing it and getting the characters individual personalities down.

I read as I listened but I usually don't like dual narration I prefer duets but for this book thank goodness I only got to hear Corvin. There’s an extremely serious element in this story, one that Alaska has to work through, but it is a real-life element and it’s handled extremely well. But I live on the edge, and he seems like a man it would be fun to annoy, and despite all the warnings I have received I just can’t help myself with him.Both Zuko and Alaska have a very messed up relationship, and Zuko has some strong kinks which include knife play. I’m more harsh towards dark romances so I easily noticed all the plot holes and corny dialogue, but maybe that’s just me being picky.

If you don’t catch up with her in her home state of Queensland, Australia you can usually find her travelling the world, either sitting on a beach in Bali or exploring Alcatraz in San Francisco or walking the streets of New York. I don’t want to spoil anything, but there’s a scene that will literally shock you and make you fan yourself at the same time.I love the two main characters, they both are seriously messed up and broken, completely own it and just fit together in a really weird and dis-functioning way. if you're a fan of touch her and die then this is the one for you, it also has mafia-esque/forced proximity vibes, the spice is 🤌 and the banter between characters is witty and felt authentic, I can't wait for more books in this universe, Thankyou so much to the author for an arc! Zuko is one of the Hunter brothers and he is a ruthless, deadly powerful guy and when he turns up at the bar where this sexy voice he's been hearing alot he recognises it right away and now he's seen her he gives of total touch her and die vibes.

I absolutely love an alpha male and that's what these characters have so much chemistry between them both it's sizzling hot and I love the spice between them both I feel it's perfect. Zuko, one of the Hunters, knows what he wants and he isn't afraid to do whatever he needs to do to get exactly that. I’m definitely going to keep this in my collection and read it every year and can someone please contact someone to make a movie series as well? There was not a moment where I was not laughing gasping about some I was laughing about what happened I was gasping at some of the spice there was just absolutely everything that you wanted and it was just wholeheartedly a great book and I cannot wait to read books 2 and three and sorry listen to books 2 and three And I am just on the edge of my seat waiting for the next one.Alaska is used to being on her own and taking care of herself but when Zuko enters her life in more ways than just one she's not sure how to navigate the secrets she's keeping.
