I have been a huge fan of Miles Morales for a long time since he was introduced in the spider verse.The chemistry between the characters is palpable, adding depth to the story and making it a joy for longtime fans like myself and newcomers to the Spider-Man mythos. So, when Gwen is struggling with her father due to her own story, it is immediately recognisable even though the catalyst is different. The background world ~ largely New York ~ and the scientific wizardry that is being dangerously misused, is gorgeous. Dialogue is natural sounding and given all the directionality it needs, did get a tad quiet when Gwen was leaving her father the second time, but otherwise never lost in the mix.
