Compared to “Throttled,” this was a mid-paced book, meaning that things went fast and then simmered down and then sped up and then slowed all the way down before picking up again. I know it's a F1 romance and the focus will be a tad more on the racer, but she didn't really have much happening with her except romancing the guy.It was real and they both needed well more like Liam needed time to accept his fears about Love and everything. Sophie’s struggle of doing what she wants versus doing what others want is something that about 93% of the human population deals with, making her story more relatable. Sophie is such a naturally happy person who unexpectedly meets this guy at a kids birthday party and doesn’t see him for another 2 and a half years and as soon as Liam sees her it’s like he knows what he wants and he goes out and he gets the girl. I absolutely loved this book, I enjoyed it much more than I enjoyed the first one even the first one is really good on its own.
