About this deal

The re-release has a 5 second slide advertising videos 1, 2, 4, 5 and 6 plus The Very Best of Fireman Sam. Whilst he’ll never quite beat the Sam I watched growing up, he’s a colourful character and children love watching him!

Danger by the Double: Lightning strikes the forest trapping James and Sarah but they are too busy arguing to realise the dangers in front of them. Despite her initial grumpiness about the lack of cats (as far as she’s concerned, rescuing cats is what Fireman Sam does! At the start of the tape, there is an advertisement for BBC Toybox magazines and the videos ' Toybox 1' and 'The Best of Noddy'. Choppy Waters: There are seaside shenanigans a plenty in Pontypandy as Norman and Penny take sailing lessons, a fire breaks out on Charlie's fishing boat and a whale becomes stranded on the beach.I can’t believe that Fireman Sam is marking 30 years on our screens this year, and is set to celebrate with this new collection of tales from the ultimate hero next door and his crew. From fiery vegetables water rescue and even some karaoke there's a heap of trouble and many adventures to look forward to with your favourite hero Fireman Sam!

On the original release, the Bumper Films copyright was edited out of every episode, but on the 1993 re-release, the copyright appeared at the end of Bentley the Robot. On Monday 3rd April the DVD of Fireman Sam’s Birthday is being released by Abbey Home Media and we were lucky enough to be sent a copy to watch. Note: Our refurbished grades - Pristine, Very Good and Good - are solely based on the cosmetic condition of the phone. Note: The VHS Cover displays a promo image from Norman's Tricky Day, despite the episode not being on this release. A fantastic collection of adventures which see everyone's favourite Fireman and his new friends performing heroic deeds in and around the town of Pontypandy. As was the Wee Man, who was far more fascinated by the facts being given out by the boat crew than Bubby D and incredibly excited that his new blue coat has reflecty strips just like Fireman Sam has too. This was the first UK Fireman Sam VHS release to feature the Bumper Films copyright caption at the end of every episode. In these all-new episodes, Sam pulls off a daring rescue to stop a runaway train, Elvis and Mike have a cliff hanging accident involving a giant guitar and Sam and Penny race to the rescue when Norman accidentally drives Jupiter through Pontypandy! The 1993 re-release has a 5 second slide advertising videos 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6 plus The Very Best of Fireman Sam.
