About this deal

I thought this was cool and their familiarity with the competitive school process shows in the story. Offers a delightful view inside the cutthroat world of private school admissions that is hilarious, cringe-worthy and all too relevant in today’s ultra-competitive educational landscape. In their debut picture book and accompanying video series, Peet Montzingo and Rockwell Sands have woven moving messages and life lessons with bravery, comedy, and grace. Peet Montzingo and Rockwell Sands have woven moving messages and life lessons with bravery, comedy, and grace. At its heart, this book is a story about the Bordelon family, which is comprised of three women from three different generations: Aunt Viv, the matriarch, who has been the Head Cook for over 50 years at Fairchild and who took in a four-year-old Josie when her mother abandoned her, raising her as her own; Josie, Aunt Viv's niece and Etta's mother, who works as the Dean of Admissions at Fairchild, the elite private school that she once attended herself; and Etta, Josie's 17-year-old daughter, who is a senior at Fairchild, one of the best dancers of her age, and currently going through the college admissions process (which causes great stress to her mother).

So up some of the highest mountains Alli climbed, down insanely steep terrain she skied and across long swathes of land she ran.

Soothed by sea breezes and ocean views, they become fascinated with their mysterious landlord and her late partner, a Fauvist painter. Nor am I ready to say goodbye to the her hysterical best friend Lola or her adorably gay assistant Roan… I am subtly and unashamedly begging and pleading. It is sweet, fun, soft, entertaining with easily relatable characters, interesting, moving storyline, three generation’s communication problems. The book also has an accompanying YouTube Shorts series, which Montzingo has uploaded on his channel. Now she starts her brand new job as director of admissions at San Francisco’s most popular private school.

If you’d like to share Montzingo’s tall tale with a child in your life, you can pick up the hardcover, paperback, or Kindle version of the book. If the reader doesn’t understand what it means to be ashy then let the reader be lost or do some digging on their own. After all, they've moved past what ails them, she will be on sabbatical fine tuning a PhD dissertation, and he needs a respite from an illness. who don't always feel like they fit in or are 'different' in some way, understand that being different is not necessarily a bad thing and that they and everything that makes them, are perfect just as they are! Over-eager parents are just one of the many things heroine Josie Bordelon has to deal with as head of admissions for a tawny private school in San Francisco. Peet often raises awareness for dwarfism with a lighthearted and charming presence, shining a loving light on his mother and siblings, all of whom are little people.

I'm happy that every day this family get to teach people about how being "little" is normal and that people who born this way go through life just like everyone else. It was about admissions at private school, drama, love, friendship, and at its heart of all it was about Bordelon family. Little Imperfections portrays a timeless narrative of love and acceptance told through a truly unique viewpoint, and makes the perfect gift for anybody—young, old, or in between…and the exclusive video version is available with purchase of the book!I really enjoyed this book, I loved learning, seeing and reading his story, but the only complaint is that, I feel like this book shouldn't have been classified as a children's book, maybe more so YA or adult to be honest, just with some of the topics that this book kinda talks about. If you have trouble acc epting mistakes, if you try to be right all the time, or if you worry about being less than the best, this book is for you! Fighting against racism, bad boyfriends, crazy tiger moms, and a daughter who wants to give in her dream of becoming a professional ballerina instead of a practical profession, our main heroine tries to balance it all. Although this story is about a tall person grow up in a family of little people it can be looked at for any disability and growing up differently.
