About this deal

Otherwise there are cheaper options which do a better job, although I know these are much safer and more environmentally friendly which is why I persevered with them.

Cutting them to size was a doddle, but I did need to add extra stronger double sided sticky tape to hold them in position, as the one provided didn’t hold. If our blinds are too small for your window, then you can layer multiple blinds to create one larger window covering. It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The only reason why I gave 4 stars is because the is still some light that enter in the room, but maybe it is for how the blind is built. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice.

No fixings required - these tiebacks can be used to gather your blackout blind and hold it in an open position. I put a 1x1 stick (60") to hold the doors apart at the top outer edge, and then another longer 1x2 (90") that puts a peak in the center. With a large bedroom window that faces directly to the morning sunrise sleep past 4am during the summer months has been rare.We didn’t have any problems with this but it is recommended that you keep the pads clean and remove any dirt which might become attached. This time bigger black blinds to cover from upstairs downstairs bay windows, whilst curtains were removed for room painting. Our temporary paper blackout blinds are available in two sizes, both of which can be cut to fit your window precisely, making them as good as any made-to-measure option.

Your blackout blind should be rolled up, or drawn to one side, then the tieback is used to hold the blind - when the tieback ends are placed together, with one in front of the fabric and one behind, the magnets will cling to each other and hold the blind in place. However, this involves a considerable amount of effort every day and the outcome, in terms of light blockage, is not consistent.

The number of windows selected with pop out latches will have a cut out to clear the latches for a nice snug fit. A stylish, small and unobtrusive smart hub that allows you to control your electric blinds (and more) via smartphone/tablet app whether at home or away and also via voice control.

To remedy this I purchased stick and sow velcro and machine sowed (too thick to do by hand) on the velcro round the edges of the blind and have stuck it to the window frame. Please note these kits include the rear side windows and the rear screen, not the cab doors or windscreen. This blackout blind is different to other brands as it is attached to the window by 7 Neodymium Magnets which means that the blind is meant to stay in place and not fall down. Dragon’s Den winner The Magic Blackout blind is a temporary but easy solution to blocking out light in your little one’s bedroom. Our plain bottom finish features a sturdy folded and sewn bottom pocket with a weighted insert to ensure the blind hangs nicely.

I agree with sunshineandshowers, easyblinds are the velcro round the frame type so nothing is getting in. Our unique design incorporates excess fabric on each of the four edges - this stops light from entering around the blackout blind. They work by using Velcro tabs to stick the blind to the glass on the window making the room pitch black. This white multi channel remote features stylish contrasting dark grey accents and is perfect for rooms with multiple blinds that you want to operate from a single handset. The kit gives control over more than your electric blinds, also allowing you the ability to connect other compatible smart products such as lighting, curtains and shutters and even gates and garage doors!
