About this deal

This is why I’m so happy that tissue culture exists (if not for all houseplant types), these houseplants can become insanely popular due to social media and we just cannot keep up with the demand. Rather this is for people who want to know how to care for Aglaonema pictum ‘Tricolor’, which has camouflage-like markings, or the rare Epipremnum pinnatum ‘Cebu Blue’, which has leaves of steely blue. Excerpts and links may be used, provided that full and clear credit is given to The Chatty Gardener with appropriate and specific direction to the original content. But otherwise, all of that information will be going up very very soon because I know some of you love your deep dives into the topics covered in the book.

And, and what I'm really proud about is that the people who've read this, so far people in the press that some of them might not even have houseplants. And the Corybas caudatas is an extremely rare orchid, which my wonderful friend Rogier had bottled it to hold aside and gifted to me a while ago. But they have that sparkly veining through the leaf and the Anthurium sort of heart shaped leaves as well. But the amazing photographer Jason Ingram did the photos and he did the most amazing job and I think Jason and DK the publisher and me were a little worried about working with me you know me as a photographer working with another photographer. And obviously by the time I got back I think I arrived back in the UK at 6am after an eight hour ferry journey. It contains essential nutrients like Nitrogen, Phosphorous, Potassium and Fulvic, as well as Amino Acids, to help promote healthy leaves and new growth, strong roots and resilience against disease, the movement of nutrients through the plant and resistance to low temperatures, and soil biochemistry and increased availability and uptake of nutrients. People think that you read a care label on a plant that says, ‘Water every seven days’, or ‘Water every seven to 10 days’. So my book is stripping it back and taking it back to science and then using that to show people how to care for their houseplants in a really, really, easy way. I don't know how Tony and I have managed it, but we both have books coming out in the same month of the year, that being April 2023. But actually the growers that grow for us, they know that we don't want them it's a waste of plastic, but also it's usually full of rubbish.

The photographs by Jason Ingram are of very quality, they are beautiful and complement the text perfectly. And it can cause things like fungal problems on the leaf if the water is not drying off,” says Tony. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. Tony is very aware of the damage that plant-poaching can have on our environment and that stripping plants from their natural habitat is a dangerous thing for the plant and for our environment. com/products/not-another-jungle-comprehensive-care-for-extraordinary-houseplants 7168931135532 Not Another Jungle: Comprehensive Care for Extraordinary Houseplants 16.
