About this deal

One gallon of Heavy Duty Staticide Anti Static Spray covers approximately 2000 sq.ft. and one quart covers approximately 500 sq.ft. This will last from weeks to months, depending on the application and the material it’s applied to. Use fabric conditioner in the wash, as it helps reduce friction and static as well as giving fabrics a soft, fluffy feel. Static is caused when fabrics rub together, creating an electrostatic charge. This can happen while you're wearing clothes, and is a particular problem if you dry your clothes in a tumble dryer. ACL produces Staticide® dilutions that are non-staining, completely biodegradable, and safe to use. They can be applied by spraying, wiping, dipping, transfer roller coating, gravure coating, or flexographic printing.

If you can’t avoid the tumble dryer, add a tumble dryer sheet to the load, as this will help to reduce a build-up of static. Staticide ® topicals can be applied by spraying, wiping, dipping, transfer roller coating, gravure coating or flexographic printing. One gallon covers approximately 2000 sq.ft. and one quart covers approximately 500 sq.ft. This will last from weeks to months, depending on the application and the material it’s applied to.

Anti Static Wipes

If you’re trying to cut down on chemicals, white vinegar works as a natural fabric softener and will help reduce static. Don’t over dry clothes and try to dry synthetic fibres separately so they don’t charge up the rest of your clothes. If you can, line or air dry. Static is a more noticeable problem in winter. This is partly because wool and polyester are two of the worst culprits, so your cosy wintry woollens could be to blame. However, the low humidity in our centrally heated homes also plays a part by allows static electricity to build up.

The best way to deal with static is to take steps to avoid an electrostatic charge building up in your clothing before it becomes a problem and leaves you standing in the street in an impossibly clingy skirt! If you're particularly susceptible to static, avoid synthetic clothing, as this tends to be the worst culprit. Instead, shop for natural fibres, which retain moisture better. Exceeds MIL-B-81705 specifications for static decay in accordance with Federal Test Standard 101, method 4046. Description Eliminate static on carpets, upholstery, & fabrics with Heavy Duty Staticide Anti Static Spray When using anti static cleaning products, it is also advised to wear appropriate gloves, to prevent excess contamination or static building up on surfaces.
