About this deal

Her unique technique of hypnosis is being taught all over the world via the Quantum Healing Hypnosis Academy. Based on the 1978 novel by Richard Matheson, the brilliant 1998 Robin Williams/ Cuba Gooding Jnr movie "What Dreams May Come" was a wonderfully creative and imaginative expression of the place between life and death - some of Cannon's ideas seemed to overlap, raising the question: are these similar ideas by two different authors an expression of a collective awakening around the understanding of what happens between life and death? D: No, it's because you're emotionally involved. It's always easy for somebody else to look at it and say, How simple. S: Oh, yes! You bring those things upon yourself. Thought is energy; it is creative and it makes things happen. It's easy to see how another person's fears can be silly and unimportant and you think, Why would they be afraid of that? Yet when it's your fear, it's so deep and so personal and so touching that it just engulfs you. So if I can look at other people's fears and try to help them understand theirs, I think somewhere along those lines it would help me understand the ones I had. Karma what you will sow, you will reap. Importance of karma is given through the book. Many facets of life after death are described in the book, new information which I was unaware of is easily provided by the Dolores Cannon.

S: Pain is a teaching tool. Sometimes it is used to humble certain people. Sometimes a haughty spirit can be brought down and taught to be more gracious through suffering. It may teach them that they must eventually learn to rise above the pain, and then they can deal with it. Sometimes just understanding pain and why we have it, lessens the pain. S: (Disgusted) Ohh! That old thing? It's down there! Ohh! I had no idea I looked so bad! I was so wrinkled and shriveled. I feel too good to be that shriveled. It was all wore out. (She was making sounds of delight.) Oh, oh, I'm so glad I'm here! You may see incredibly beautiful buildings, landscapes and greenery – all bathed in energy and colors that are more pure and vibrant than any on Earth – what you might call Paradise. When experiencing life after death, Paradise could be thought of as the higher astral planes of Earth, where souls go to study and learn about their physical experiences. Out of the 4 books by Dolores Cannon that I have read so far, this one is probably her best one. Generally it has a good flow of information, and it is a quite an in-depth reading experience. Her other books that I've read were often all over the place and at times hard to follow. Nonetheless, there are still some things that I'd like to be improved (perhaps in a 2nd edition?). For example a better proofreader would be good, as there are sometimes errors. I'd also really appreciate it if she provided a short paragraph or 2 about each subject as well as their fake name (I understand the need for annonimity, I just want to be able to tell her subjects apart). In this book she only names one subject, "John", and everyone else is just "S". I think if there was a short excerpt about each person she puts under her hypnosis, it would do 2 things: S: Of course, if they want to. They don't always want to. They want the sympathy and self-punishment and all sorts of things. People are funny. Everyone knows how to do these things if they take the time. They must find a way for themselves because they wouldn't believe it if you told them there was an easier way. They have to figure it out on their own. That's part of the lessons that get you there.Cannon's assertions are interesting. Some of her conclusions match those of other writers in this genre, but some stray afield. Who knows who's right? Book critiques would give it 3 to 3.5 on a 5, but for me it is impossible to be objective and rate it as any other 'book'. I have no way of knowing for sure, the veracity of dialogues presented by the writer, yet I am willing to let it convince me. Not because it makes me positively delusional or complacent about life but it makes sense to me, it just fits in, in the grander Working through several different subjects, Dolores was able to establish communication with the living Michel De Notredame, better known as the prophet Nostradamus. His revelations and their impact on our own time are both fascinating and at times frightening. The evolution of the human consciousness requires wide leaps of imagination to carry the present time from the past into the future. While there were many interesting possibilities about the after life presented in this book, the authoritative way in which the 'soul interviews' were presented made me dubious. There is also no indication of how much the original interviews were edited to fit Cannon's hypotheses.

Allow the reader to determine for themselves if there is any subject bias based on culture, upbringing, family life, religion, gender, etc. S: They become too self-centered. They need to rise above their own interests and what they're feeling at the moment to a more spiritual level and then they can deal with it. Now, some people, they bring the pain on because it's a shelter. They may have the pain as an excuse or as an out, and that's the purpose. It varies with the individual. What is pain? It cannot touch you if you don't let it. If you admit that you will hurt, you're giving power to pain. Do not give it power. It's unnecessary to feel it. It's all connected to man. Reach into your spirit, your higher mind, it has no hold on you.

Dolores appeared on various TV specials including "A Current Affair" (in Australia); BBC Documentary Series "Divine Magic"; "Ancient Mysteries of the World" (a two hour special on CBS); "Ancient Prophecies I and Ancient Prophecies II" (two hour specials on NBC); "Encounters" ( a one hour special on FOX network); "Good Day LA" (in California); "Mysteries, Magic and Miracles" (the Sci-Fi Channel); "Marilu Talk Show" (ABC); "Biography" (series on A&E Channel); "America After Hours" (CNBC); "CNN International Entertainment News". The concept of Heaven is abstract and difficult to describe in terms humans on the physical plane can understand. It refers to the higher planes where everything is energy. Souls that are learning about their lives on Earth go to Paradise to study life after death. When souls finally learn all the life lessons required they no longer need to reincarnate on Earth and can merge with the pure energy of the Creator in Heaven – the ultimate goal. Whatever guidance a soul needs after transitioning the death experience will be provided. Life after death is guaranteed because the soul is indestructible. For humans, accepting death should be as easy as embracing life, because one cannot exist without the other. The spirit is not just a thing that resides in a body; it is eternal energy, created by Source. The chapter entitled "Imprinting" presents a totally new concept for me. Imprinting is withdrawing information about the past life experiences of others and having this information imprinted on one's soul. The imprint would feel as though one had actually experienced the life in question. These "fake" (my appellation) past life experiences provide the person with a point of reference, something to relate to. The regressed subject states "If one were to come to this planet without the aid of imprints, we would be totally lost." Offering both comfort to the fearful and confirmation to the curious, this title examines different levels of existence in the spirit realms.
