Rita burst into laughter, which sounded like nails on a chalkboard to me. "I'm so sorry that I've asked your husband to come over and see me at this time of night." Rita obviously made that phone call to me just to provoke me, but more than her smug, rotten attitude, it was Charles's indifference toward me that made me lose sleep. It was and is kind of a 5 star read for me ... And this might be a slight spoiler but. In the end after everything blows up the author took the direction where the H thinks he doesn't deserve her and so leaves her alon and she comes to him.

I loved the side characters and need more Reins and Shays in my life. I knew what she meant. To be honest, I didn't hate the idea of having a child with Charles. In fact, I was happy to hear it. What could have resulted in two trite, annoying characters in lesser hands, becomes one of the best matched couple in melo/romantic comedy. Even when their plot-line drags – and it does, here and there – they are both able to sustain the silence and make it resound. Tangled Love is a story of two brothers, Rocco and Parker, who's lives have been marred by the murder of their mother during their teen years that leads to them spending their formative years plotting to avenge her death. They have a close bond that sees the younger brother quite dependant on his older sibling. Rocco is the darker of the brothers and quite brash, while in Parker we see their is a softer side that he just needs the right person to nurture.Codi Rein will be thier penance. I'll rob her from them, they way they took her from me and I'll show them what real pain is." It was so very well written and such an incredibly emotive tale that I could not give it less than its deserved full five stars.
